How to Choose a Minecraft Lifesteal Server
By HypixMC team ·
Lifesteal servers share a core idea: PvP can change a player's health and the balance of power between teams. The details differ enough that reading the rules before joining can save you from losing progress unexpectedly.
Compare the heart system
Find out how many hearts players start with, how many a kill transfers, and whether hearts can be crafted, withdrawn or restored. Some servers eliminate a player at zero hearts; others use a temporary penalty or a revival item.
Check the season and reset schedule
Ask when the current season began and what happens at the next reset. A fresh season can be a good time to join, while an established season may have a deeper economy and larger player-run bases. Check whether ranks, cosmetics or purchased features carry over.
Understand combat and teams
Read the rules for combat logging, traps, allies, team size and offline protection. Also check whether the server uses Java only or supports Bedrock through crossplay. A high player count does not tell you whether the rules fit the way you want to play.
Start with the HypixMC Lifesteal server list, compare the available listings and open a server page for its address, version and current status.
